The USB port on the docking kbd is not working, but the USB port on the tablet IS. THis happened a month ago under preloaded Windows 8. Took the machine to the repair shop. They said it's a softwre (driver) problem - there is not driver for the port.
I installed Windows 8.1. The port on the keyboard worked fine... for two weeks only. Today it refused to work again, while the one on the tablet works just fine. All suggestions to repair the problem in this forum failed. I tried to update the driver - 'The driver is up-to-date.' Problem persists.
