Bios Update Message: "FLASH PART NO SUPPORT"
Veriton M670G Windows 7 Pro.
Downloaded BIOS update from Acer site for this system.
Attempted to update BIOS from P01-A3 to R01-A4 in DOS via USB flash drive.
1st flash try - Seemed to flash ok then on reboot "checksum bad." Loaded BIOS using F1, forgot to load default setting. Then rebooted to windows ok, but still showing P01-A3.
2nd flash try - "bootable checksum ok", "module chekksum ok", then "message: flash part no support." Loaded BIOS and this time loaded default setting.
Boots to windows ok, but still showing P01-A3.
Not sure what that flash update message means. Since Windows loads, am I better off forgetting R01-A4?
