Happy New Year..

Having trouble getting a good charge connection on my Kav60. Tried a new cord at the computer repair shop, that didnt seem to be it, it's itermittant so I dont think it's the battery. Seemed to be a loose connection inside.

Took it apart, ordered new one and replaced it. still had same issue, so I took it apart again and squeezed the sides in where the adapter sits and it worked for a day, now intermittant again and seems loose even after new ac adapter installed. Dont know if its because its held on with only held on by 2 sided tape and not soldered to anything, so it cant keep a connection?!?

Right now i am using my work laptops charger (has differentn tip- I know this isn't the best option, but it's the only one I have at the moment) to keep it going, and I still have to keep it completely still or I lose connection. lol Smiley Happy Also since I have to keep the cord in it just right, I can't do a battery check because it doesnt power on without the battery in it. I thought it was suppsed to. Anywho, it's been charging and at 98% the orange light started blinking. It's never done that before. Let it die a bit, plugged in again and jiggled my other cord in it and let it charge to full, now shows pwwer adapter icon not battery and orange light turned to green. Im set for awhile without cord now. YAY!

Hopefully i gave enough information and I can get this resolved. I really love this lil thing, it works perfect for my needs.

The only advice that I can offer is to send the system in for service to have us repair the system.

Thanks for the response. It is no longer covered under warrenty and I assume they would just replace the same piece I have already replaced. Unless they change the way the AC adapter sits in the cradle, it would still be connected with two sided tape and not secured in causeing the loose connection. Please correct me if I am wrong.
