Aspire V5-122 with preinstalled Windows 8 ask for product key!!!!

Happy new year.

 

I bought an  Aspire V5-122 in October2013 with Windows 8 pre-installed. A few days later it automaical updated it self to Windows 8.1 and still running automatic updates on.

 

I previous disabled Internet Explore in ad features to windows settings.

 

today i wanted to enable Internet Explore again and download the new Touch Screen version. However when i went to Ad Windows Features in Control Panel it asked me for product key,, i pressed already have on (showed in System in Control Panel) but this product Id was not acceptable,,, !!!!!

 

Could anyone help to solve this problem as it seems that i can not use the Add features to Windows ,, thanks ,, or do i really have to purchase a new product key fpr the 8.1 that was updated automatically from windows 8?

Windows 8.1 is not an automatic update.  It is installed through the Windows Store.

 

I'm going to suggest that you restore the system to the factory operating system, Windows 8.

I'm hoping that you actually have the V5-122P system, if you want to enable 'touch' in a program.
