My laptop is an Acer Aspire 5253-BZ496 laptop which I restored to factory defaults through Acer Recovery. After restoring the laptop, the laptop's speakers don't seem to function. I went to the drivers part of the website and downloaded and installed the Windows 7 64-bit drivers for audio which were the Conextant version 184.108.40.206 and my speakers volume can be adjusted through windows and even shows the bars rising and falling when sound should be playing as if it were, but there's no sound coming from the laptop. I even tried to install the Windows 7 High Definition audio drivers that were already there and neither have sound playing through the laptop's speakers. Any reason for this? Any fixes? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
