Aspire one stuck in windows boot manager

I was trying to restore my son's computer to the factory default settings. Everything was going well until at the restore progress part of the eRecovery Management an error message came up "There is insufficient space on the disk for temporary files required for this operation" I hit ok and then it goes to the windows boot manager screen and states "windows failed to open" I have tried to hit alt+f10 to get out but it takes me back to the eRecovery Management screen where it all starts over again. I am stuck in a loop I can't get out of. Any help would be appreciated.

What was the computer doing prior to attempting recovery? If the recovery disks are failing, it is possible that the hard disk drive on the system has failed.

Greg, it could well be a hard drive problem. Try to borrow a legal copy of your operating system and reboot with the new copy in your optical drive. MAYBE it will take you to a repair menu.
