Easystore E340 Restore Stuck

After a recent power cut the easy store was left in a bit of a state.  However I am now trying to complete a recovery.  Everything goes to plan until its trying to re-install the home connector and then it says sorry try again.

 

I can remote desktop to the device however at this point it does have a password set as its just been recovered and showing purple lights.  I can get to the link site on port 55000 so no its not being blocked but the home connector install terminates shortly after saying "downloading".

 

I  saw this post which sounds like the same thing however the instructions were to "recover" again.  I have done this twice each with same end results any help appreciated.

If recovery doesn't fix it, that usually means it is a hardware problem. You may need to call Acer for repair.
