press F1 to continue...

I have a second hand Aspire M1200 which is four years old now.  When I got the machine, which still works fine, it asked me to press F1 every time I reboot.  The only information I could see online to make this go away is not for this machine.  The PC Health menu in the BOIS does not have a Chassis Intrusion Detect option and there are no clear markings on the board to try and find a manual with more information.  Does anyone know how to fix this for this machine?

What is the message it is showing asking you to press F1?

Go to BIOS and use Load Default Settings, than Save & Exit. It should help.

F1 its usually when BIOS have wrong configuration or find new hardware.

    Hope its help.
