Hello

For the first time my computer just turned off and i couldn't turn it back on. I assumed it was a battery issue.

Anyways, i opened it up, blew it out, and noticed a switch that i could push to the state ON or OFF. So i switched it to ON, and now i can start my computer no problem

I do not know what this switch does, but i assume it does someting to the battery. Anyways, its always been off, so if anyone could enlighten me as to what i did i would be a very happy boy Smiley Happy

Thank you

EDIT: Should i leave this switch ON or OFF. currently it is ON

Where are you seeing the switch?

If you have an image with it indicated that would help.

The switch i'm referring to is to the left of the memory and right of the wireless card

    Ah, the interior switch.

I believe it is used by service to do some testing.

It should normally be in the OFF position.

I would not think that it should harm the system, no.
