Aspire lv5 windows 8 (recovered after windows 8.1 debacle)

 

Hi I am noe recieving the above messege when I try to create a recovery point, I have gone to local services to see if this was started but it is not listed, any ideas would be good, I wanted to create a recovery point before I loade a list of updates, I would have liked to update to 8.1 but after the last b*lls up I dont trust that any of my programes will work with it.

 

Anyway help would be appreciated.
