I have purchased 3 Acer products. My notebook (an Aspire ) had the HD die just after warranty. I replaced the HD. But previously burned recovery discs did not work. Since out of warranty, Acer would not help. Then I bought a netbook ( One ) for my girlfriend, then shortly later another ( One ) for myself. Shortly after warranty expiration. her HD died & needed replacement. Again, the recovery discs did not work. She paid for another OS. Now my Acer One will not power up, despite a new battery, and new power supply. Again, out of warranty, so no help from Acer. Power reset instructions did not work.
Any help would be appreciated. If I cannot resuscitate this One netbook, I will never buy an Acer product ever again, and I will caution anyone else not to do so either.
3 dead ones is more than enough.
