Can somebody please tell me why I am getting rapid clicking noise (not beeps) from the onboard speaker at system startup??   Then I also get the MS boot system selector screen.   I have no options other than Vista, which seems to work fine once selected.   I have tried to set the boot selection screen display time to zero in Properties/Advanced system settings & etc. but it seems to make no difference.   I have also checked and unchecked the box to no avail.

I believe that this  boot selection screen originally started appearing to prompt me to check system memory using one of the screens options, which I did, and found that my RAM was bad..  I have replaced it and PC works way better but the boot selector screen still appears.   If I run its' memory check again, it finds no errors.

Anybody have any ideas.   I can't seem to figure this one out.
