How to prevent (disable) an HDD from being bootable in the BIOS

Hi,

I want to disable an HDD of being part of the bootable devices. Actually, I put my old HDD in a HDD caddy by replacing the optical drive. It's not recognized by the BIOS (IDE1 empty). So, as it is a secondary HDD used for data only, I would like to disable it definitly so no need to considere it as bootable disk.

How can I perform this ?

Thanks for your help.

My Laptop :

Acer Aspire 5745G 720QM / 16Go RAM / Primary HDD : Samsung SSD 840 Pro 256Go / Windows 7 Ultimate
