Acer Aspire V5-571PG Problems

I have Acer Aspire V5-571PG with Windows 8 Single Language installed and now I have 2 MAJOR problems.

1st Problem:

Yesterday I knew that NVIDIA released a new update (331.82 WHQL) to the Display driver so I downloaded it and tried to install it but I always get the "NVIDIA Installer Failed" message. I searched for a solution and tried everything I found but in vain.

At last, I tried to uninstall the current driver and try to install the new one. I managed to uninstall the current driver for "Device Manager" but when I tried to install the new one again I got the same message.

I downloaded the NVIDIA driver from Acer Support website from my laptop's page

http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers

But this one also gives me the same message. So, now I ended up without any NVIDIA driver for my card.

2nd Problem:

I wanted to upgrade my Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 so I followed the instructions here:

http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/update-to-windows81

I uninstalled the Intel Display driver and for the NVIDIA you know from the 1st problem that it is already not there.

I installed all the pending important updates from Windows Update.

I opened the store and downloaded the upgrade but each time it reaches the install phase especially at around 70% it stops with error code 0x80070003 I searched the web about this error and tried everything out there but nothing worked. I tried to clear the store cache and it gave me other errors.

I found some articles about a way around to download Windows 8.1 as ISO and use this to upgrade to avoid the store method errors. But this way required my Win 8 product key. So, I used the one for the windows 8 version installed on my laptop but it told me that this key is only for OEM versions not for retail ones.

So, I would appreciate any help to either of the problems but my most urgent one is the NVIDIA problem.
