How do you reset your password if you have forgotten it, for your computer to turn it on? I forgot Windows 7 password to get on to my computer and now I’m on my mom’s computer and it’s really slow so help and i 13 so yeah... and I’m new at this!

I tried suggestion that if forgot Windows password as the below steps:

1, start the computer and keep pressing the F8 key.
2, once it loads up, you will see 'administrator' click on it. if it's password protected you won’t be able to do anything.
3, open start menu and then control panel,
4, in the control panel select 'users',
5, reset the password, change it.

We, IT supporters, get lots of requests for Windows 7 password recovery, basically you are asking us to tell you how to hack in to a protected computer. The computer could be stolen for all we know. Take the computer with proof of ownership to a workshop and they should be able to recover the password, or alternatively reinstall the operating system from your recovery disks.

How do I do now? I also got suggestions as below:

If you have the old password it should allow you to remove password Windows 7 ...if not try this...start the machine and repeatedly tap the F8 key until the option screen appears and choose safe mode with networking then open your browser and go to SAFETY LIVE  that is Microsoft's online virus scanner there are others...after that go to Malware Bytes and download their free scanner and run the scan...Aviary and Kaspersky offer free rescue disk just use a clean machine to download and burn the disk set your bios to boot from the CD/DVD player and run the rescue disk before the machine can boot up...to return to safe mode restart your machine.

The suggestion  might help much for Win pc users that break Windows 7 password. We are able to choose a single which suits for the case to solve problem efficiently!

We are not going to be able to help you recover a Windows password.

There seem to be some good suggestions which will work that you have collated from various sources on the Internet.
