Iconia W700 and hibernating Win 8.1

Hello,

first, I'm the owner of an Iconia W700 with Intel I3 and HD 3000. Ater Win 8.1 update, hibernating as a normal setting in power saving settings does no longer works. I guess that the VGA driver form Intel for the graphic board HD 3000 is the problem. The Tablet correctly powers down the display and the processor according to the power saving settings - but the hibernating does not work according to the settings. Manual started hibernating is working. I'm using the lastest available Drivers, also the HD driver is up to date and downloaded from the Intel hompepage (9.17.10.3347).

Any suggestions?

BR,

Holger

Sounds like a driver or just an 8.1 issue. You may need to just wait for a windows update, or new driver release to see if that will solve the problem. If it is too big of a deal, you can always go back to Windows 8.
