ICONIA A100 - disk space

Hi. I have Acer ICONIA A100. I want install new application, but i have got eror about less disk space.

When i connect my Tablet to Windows PC, i can to see this:

but when i go to disk and selected all folders, i have got different information:

Where is 3 GB ??? Thank you!

    What does it show on the device itself?

    It looks to me like the OS files are hidden. The 1.84GB would be your downloaded apps, the remainder is the OS. Try turning on 'show hidden files' in folder options for Windows and see if they show up.

    And hidden items already was enabled.

    This device has 8 GB, and ~3 already is hide, but where is another 3 GB ? (

    Some space is required for the operating system and pre-installed items.  It is some less than 3GB.

    You mean, i have bought tablet with 8 GB, but may to use only 2 ???

    Please, look again to foto from Tablet. I have 5.31 GB. 2,69 GB - it is for system and already hide.

    Where is another 3 GB ???

    Many Thanks!!! now i have 3GB free ) And i have use non-free miroSD. Smiley Happy

    strange, i not so often used GPS, because google maps doesn't work without Internet (

    Why GPS saved so much data ?
