Hi,

My poduct name is Extensa 5220.

There was a Windows SP3 32Bit installed on my laptop, and when I reinstalled Windows 7 Ultimate(64Bit). I really ddin't get unknown devices, except 'Mass Storage controller', which forced me to install Card Reader driver downloaded from the Acer Home page. However, I didn't install any other derivers.

However, I really have been advised to install  'Intel Chipest Device software', although I don't know what this software would be doing. However, when I installed it, I only noticed that one device was updated.

If this software were necessary for Windows 7, then I would have found it in the homepage of Acer. I really have downloaded it from a 3th-party website.
