Windows 8.1 - Acer Aspire Z5600 - Problems

Just installed Windows 8.1 enterprise on my Acer Aspire Z5600 all-in-one touch desktop. A couple of metro apps crash upon launch and audio is hit or miss within several metro apps. Everything works fine in desktop mode. Installed all the latest Windows 7 drivers (no Windows 8 or 8.1 drivers available for this model). Any ideas on how I could get the sound and apps working properly in metro?

 

Know of any plans to create make 8.1 drivers for the Aspire Z5600? 

 

I can see in device manager there are two "Base System Device" looking for drivers, but none of the drivers from the acer support site for this device resolves them.

The system only ever shipped with Windows 7, which is what we are able to support on the system.

 

There are no Windows 8 drivers available, and I do not forsee there being any posted.
