Acer Aspire R7 Stuck in diagnosing PC / Had boot media failure before.

I woke up this morning and I saw my Aspire R7 with a black screen. It had the text 'boot media failure', so I hard rebooted it with the power button as the keys were not responsive. The computer restarted and then wouldn't start, so I cycled in on and off a couple of times and then it went into 'Diagnosing your PC' where it has stayed for the past hour and a half.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

The specs are:

Acer Aspire R7-571-53338G1.02Tass

Core i5-3337U

Intel HD 4000

8GB DDR3

    Hi Squilliam!

Boot Media Failure, usually describes a fault/problem with the hard drive, or connection. You can check the hard drive yourself to make sure it is seated properly, but if it is under warranty (which I suspect it may be) then contact Acer support for your region.
