Aspire 7736z memory upgrade

I have an Aspire 7736z-4088. I was going to upgrade the memory from 3Gb to 4Gb. I used Crucials site and scanner to verify memory type. It listed PC2-6400/5300. I ordered that memory, a Crucial PC2-6400 module. When I went to install it, it wouldn't fit, wrong form factor. Per a label on one of the installed cards, it is PC3-8500. Is this actually correct before I order ANOTHER card and try to install it? Thanks for any help.

    Good day

This is your machine memory specs: Up to 2 GB of DDR2 667 MHz memory, upgradeable to 4 GB using two soDIMM modules.

This means that you can only use DDR2 667 or 800MHz only.
