Good afternoon Acer users,

Ever since I bought my Aspire v5 471p I have been very frustrated with the bluetooth connection.  Finally after looking on the internet I saw some information and was able to make it work by downloading the driver for it.  Yesterday my computer did some updates to windows 8 and it stopped working again.

The bluetooth is on, it recognizes discoverable devices I want to connect to, but it won't connect.  I read somewhere over the internet to right click on the wifi connection and enable sharing so that it would recognize the bluetooth devices and it did.  Now after the update I'm unable to right click on the wifi connection and unable to connect to bluetooth devices.

Please help!  Is anyone else having this same problem or similar?  By the way I already verified and I have the latest version for the bluetooth Atheros driver.

Thanks for your time,

Jennifer

    Hi Jennifer!

It will be worth un-installing, then re-installing the Bluetooth driver. Sometimes, updates can corrupt programs or drivers, and reinstalling (usually) works!
