Re: Windows 7 Recovery options

I just replaced my Aspire 5560 notebook's internal 500gb SATA drive with a brand new 1tb Seagate Momentus SATA drive.

I then used the Acer-supplied Windows 7 recovery DVDs to install the OS...at the very conclusion of loading them (the last being the "languages" DVD) the following error message occurs:  "Fail to customize WinRE door recovery utility".

Then, when trying to boot the system, the "PXE E61 Media test failure - check cable" and "PXE M0F Exiting Broadcom PXE ROM" messages appear, followed by "operating system not found"

I have disabled the "boot from network" function and have ensured that booting from the new HDD is in the no. 1 position of priority.

Any ideas, anyone?  Many thanks in advance for your help.  Scott
