Acer Liquid E2 - bluetooth contacts issue

Hi everyone

Recently was delighted to upgrade to an Acer Liquid 2, on a 3 contract. My car
allows hands-free via bluetooth connection, and this works fine. However, when
I try to access the directory the car display states no directory available.
Have tried SIM, phone and all options, and have also deleted and re-paired the
devices but without success.

Is this an known issue with the Liquid 2 does anyone know? Is it maybe an issue with the vehicle
(my previous Nokia non-SMART phone worked perfectly!)

Without access to the contact list, it makes calling from the vehicle an impossibility unless there is a tag, but without a phonebook, even setting up a tag is a nightmare without this option.

Has anyone else encountered this problem, or is there anywhere anyone suggests I can go to for advice? All help gratefully received, but please keep it in plain English!!!
