aspire one ZG5

I have an Aspire One ZG5 that won't start!
It also happened about a year ago -the battery didn't power up so I bought a new battery.
Then the mashine worked again.
I don't use it so very often -about two or three maybe four months between use!
It was the same last time!
Now it's the same again -the mashine won't start.

Is this what to expect when not using the mashine more often.
Will the battery 'die' if you don't use it for several months?
If so I have to throw the mashine away and I think that would be a pity!

Is there something else to do?
I would be Very Grateful if you take the time to help (tip) me!

Does the system power on AC adapter?

Yes, but the battery won't take power -doesn't work!

After about 3 months 'on a shell'

Anything to do but to buy a new one?

If you leave the system plugged in, what does the systray indicate for the battery?

Most greatful for all help I get.
I had it on for a hole night -about 9 hours -no power to the battery.. So I sent you the earlear report.
Funny thogh -after about three hours later when I returned to the computer -the battery was fully loaded.
Very curious!!!!!
Thank You so very much for your help and trouble, now everything is working -it seems!
But I think I have to use my comp.more often.......:-)
