W3/W510 & GPS

Both the W3 and W510 lack an internal GPS receiver (hopefully the W4 will have one) which creates a problem with a personal Tablet. To me one of the essential features is a Sat-Nav and for any of the good ones (I have Delorme Street Atlas and Microsoft Streets and Trips both 2013 versions) for Windows to work you need a GPS.

Since there is none internal, there are two choices: USB (USSAT BU-353-S4  - need S4 or later to work with Win 8/8.1 - or Garmin/Microsoft - these are the two I have) or Bluetooth (many apps) - the latter requires a smart phone with Bluetooth, GPS, & an available app for the phone and Windows  e.g. almost all Android, do not know about iPhone or Windows Phone.

Bottom line, a successful tab needs GPS if only to send the current location to the Pizza delivery guy. Given a choice of to have or have not the market will decide.
