Need Help for Acer Predator G3620 HD8760 wi-fi

Hi,

I just bought a new acer predator g3620 an i ran into a little problem.

I have a wireless network at home so i'mm trying to connect to it ut that does't seem to work.
It won't even show any available network altough mine should be close enough and available as it works for all the other computers in the house. I did some troubleshooting online and within windows 8 but could't find a solution yet.

I find out there should be a wireless/wi-fi switch somewhere but i can't find it anywhere. The manual and most tutorials tell you how to connect to a network but not what you have to do if you can't even find the networks.

Does the wireless card appear in the Device Manager?

Is there a ! or X on the device?

Do you see any wireless networks under the Network Manager?

Can you see any with other devices?

Have you attempted to manually add your network?

Hi,

Thank you for the help but the problem got already fixed.
It seemed my computer has no wireless adapter eventough the store where i bought it assured me there was.
Now i got some usb stick which functions as my wireless network adapter.
But thank you for the eply Smiley Happy
