I have an Acer A500 that was updated to ICS this past summer. It has been working like a champ until a few weeks ago when it would just hang up after a sleep or when it was turned on.
It will initially boot up fine, but within several seconds it will sometimes lock up/ become un respponsive. I have used Android Info to watch the processes and when this happens the CPU is maxed out at 100%, but there is no procress or group of processes I can see that are doing it? Also, when this happens the WiFi goes away, and when I go into settings to check it I find it stuck trying to turn off (but I didn't ask for it to be turned off).
I haven't installed any new Apps. I have run the Malwarebytes and AVG antivirus on it and neither "finds" anything malicious. I am concerned there is something wrong in some backgroun process that I am not allowed to see?
Did I mention this happens randomly, every third or fourth time it boots and works fine, but it is a hassle getting there.
Any ideas what is wrong, or what to do about it??
