Hi, i have only had this laptop 1 month and all was well until i upgraded to windows 8.1

Everthing runs fine until the screen goes to sleep, Then when you awaken the laptop by touching the screen or keyboard I get a Garbled screen of graphics and the only alternative i have is to press the power button to switch it off?

I have tried installing the Latest intel driver from the ACER support website but unfortunately it brings up an ERROR message advising me that My computer does not meet the minimum requirements? Really only one Month Old?

the intel processor chip only came out January of this year but is a 2cnd generation model

So i suspect intel are not supporting the chip anymore ???

Spoken to Acer support in a foreign Country, a rude gentleman suggested i wipe the system clean Took over 5 hours

and left with the same problem,  been onto acer chat after exhaustive conversation suggested i try Microsoft?

Bought this laptop to browse the the web and to socialise, Has now become a stress giving piece of Plastic

Any help appreciated  Thank You...

You're stating that you recovered the system to factory, and you're still having the same garbled video issue?

I would suggest contacting technical support in your region for further assistance with this issue.

I have the same problem with my aspire v5-572-6498... Bought it and upgraded to 8.1 after a couple of days. Every time I wake it from sleep mode its all pixelated and like a double screen. I'm very disappointed. Tried updating drivers etc and ran into the same issues as as stated above. If anyone knows of any fixes it would be greatly appreciated.
