error msg driving me crazy

I have an A500 Icona. I have been getting so many "browser not responding, do you want to wait, report or close"  I always wait and it comes on. i was advised not to use chrome, i cleaned out unused apps, I am hoping that i can get an answer other than going back to factory default...any advice?

    I use Firefox on my Android devices.

    Have you tried to reset the default browser and check for the issue?

    Reset your Web Browser:
    Open your web browser to any page.

    1. Press the Menu key. Select "More", then "Settings".
    2. Scroll down. There will be three menu options: "Clear cache", "Clear history", and "Clear all cookie data".
    3. Touch each of these three in turn, selecting "Ok" when it asks you to confirm.
    4. Press the back button until you get back to the web browser. If it's already showing the page you want, be sure to reload it by selecting Menu, then "Refresh".

     

    Or you can click on Settings option in the web Browser --> Advanced option ---> Select Reset option.

     

     

    After resetting the Internet settings, check, if the error message occurs again.
