Black Screen on Windows 8.1 Upgrade?

Hello!

Note: I have an Aspire V5-471G53334G50Mass

So, I just upgraded to Windows 8.1 and for some reason, after I login, the screen blacks out. I tried using Safe Mode, but same thing.

My guesses are:
-Installing the old Intel GPU Driver (The one that is for any Windows under 8) from Windows Update.
-Having an old Acer X153W as a second display.
-Not installing the right NVIDIA GPU Driver (Installed: 331.61 I think)
-Not installing a Display Driver I don't know of.

What are your guesses? Please Help!! I got a big IT Project that is due on Monday and my Project is on my laptop and I don't want to open up my laptop and ruin it!!! Thank you for any support.

    Hi mayood00

Have you checked the Acer support site for your region to see if there is an updated driver to use with 8.1?

Your guesses are possibly right. If nothing seems to fix it, I'm afraid that you may need to recover your computer back to 8.0, but be aware that doing so can erase everything on there!

Thanks for your help! Well, I actually downloaded all the drivers for my laptop (I have Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 Drivers all backed up on my external hard disk). Oh well, I'm gonna have to restore it anyway.
