Not happy with notebook

This is my first experience with an acer product, and I can assure you it will be my last. Purchased a notebook and after 3 weeks, had to return it, at the tune of $42.00, includes box, because it would not type using the keyboard. I did receive an email they had received my item. It has been 11 days and I have not received any correspondence on the status of my computer. I tried the web address they gave me only to get ERROR 404. Site cannot be found. I can find,  an email address to contact them, so called today, and again, could not clearly understand the operator. I have not been a happy camper with this site or services..
