Can a computer be saved which the bios recovery has been fla**bleep** corupted

I was trying to reboot a acer aspire one, when I down loaded a "Acer Aspire One BIOS Recovery" program". I used my working computer to down load the program, and saved it to a memory stick. I then Tried the program on the corupted machine. I then turned of my useable machine, and left for the night. When I returned to the computer, it was dead. no life at all. on/ off button showed no indication of any electrical activity. I really need this computer, The one which formally worked. 

 

The one which I was trying to work with had, "WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM" WARNING.  "yOU CAN ATTEMPT TO REPAIR THIS FILE BY STARTING wINDOWS SETUP USING THE ORGINAL SETUP DIS cd-ROM.  sINCE THIS IS A NET BOOK THERE WAS NO SETUP DISK.

 

wHAT SHAL i DO TO RESOLVE THESE PROBLEMS?

Good day

 

1. Remove battery

2. Plug in charger and try to power the machine on with battery removed.

3. If the machine still doesnt power on, then test another ac adapter.

4. If that doesnt work, rather take the unit to your local Acer Repair centre for diagnosis.
