acer 5517 wont charge new batteries

I have an Acer 5517 that I have no problems with since boought 4 years ago. The battery finally will barely hold a charge. I got a message the other day that I needed to replace the battery. I have bought two new batteries, nost refurbished etc. It will not charge them. When I put the old battery back in it charges. I took them to a computer tech, he says they are the right batteries and they are both good. He does not know why they will not charge. I contacted Acer authorized service center, they said they could not help me that I would have to contact Acer. I have scoured the internet to no avail. Sometimes it will say it is charging 7% then turns around and says not charging. Suggestions?

Please provide me the serial number or part number of the system as well as the original battery part number and the Acer part number of the batteries that you are having issues with.
