Hi, i have been using this netbook for more then a year. All the while it was fine. Recently i could not access my webcam. so i uninstalled the Acer crystal software and reinstalled. But, when i want to run it, a notification appears saying 'Camera not found'. However i have my built in camera. Can someone help me with this.

    Hi ITNoob!

Click start & type Device Manager in the Start Menu & click it. Look for Imaging Devices & expand. Right click your Camera & choose Uninstall. Restart your laptop & let Windows install the camera - This should then work.

    If it doesn't then:

    A. Try using system restore to revert back to a date when it was working.  See here how to do this.  If it fails:

    B. A reinstall of Windows should fix it. (Remember to back up all your documents/files). If it doesn't:

    C. The cable that connects your camera may have worked loose. Take it to you local PC store for a fix

It might be entirely possible that the webcam itself has died - your local store should be able to replace it
