Aspire X3810 boot from Linux CD fails

Trying to boot mini tools partition wiizard's boot CD (linux based).

It starts boot but always hangs at   usb2-6:  new high speed usb device number 2 using ehci-hcd

MiniTools suggested removing all USB drives -- didn't help.

I also tried disconnecting the memory slot readers (thought they might look like a USB devce)

Looked in bios setting for any ehci settings and found none.

The boot CD works in other systems (Dell, Compaq, Gateway, Asus and a Samsung laptop).

    1. By "USB Drives", did you mean even your mouse and keyboard?
    2. Try disabling Legacy USB support in BIOS
    3. If the above didn't work, maybe it doesn't like your motherboard...
