Acer Liquid E2 SD problem

Hey guys,

I bought an Acer Liquid E2 Dual Sim version and I have a question. Where is the SD mount option ? Because in Storage under Mount the selected field is gray ... "untouchable". Why is that if I already put a SD card in ? (new one).

Does anyone have a clue ?

It doesn't work that way. I tried. Quick and full format on a PC using Fat32. I think the problem is due to the lack of information. The device doesn't support old microSD formats. It only supports the new microSDHC and I think that because I recently bought a microsdHC card and it worked.

So, if anybody encounters this type of situation, please follow up the post and buy a new microsdhc card and try.

    Cheers

    Robert.

I have the same problem. I read on the forum to format your sd card on a computer as Fat32, then reinsert it in the phone. The phone then "sees" it and formats it ready for use.

I heard from Acer UK and downloaded the card update. All 411 mb of it. The phone said can't read file!

Well, I too asked Acer UK about my problem and they said it's a hardware issue, but it's more of a INFO issue. So try my "fix" and let us know.

Dunno mate, I fixed mine the way I shared with everyone else.

    Cheers,

    Robert.

I have the same problem. Never had problems with a 32gb sd card until I recently used a windows xp computer and put files from the pc to the e2. I really need my files, is there an update somewhere to fix this?
