Aspire 5552 - guest needs help with password logon.

I am unable to use my password to start my computer.  I get a message that password won't work. "The user profile service service failed the logon.  Use profile cannot be loaded."   I have never had this problem before.  My computer worked fine yesterday, but tonight, I cannot get logged on.  Any help?

    Tillie, on their help site, Microsoft says that if you have forgotten your Administrator password, you must re-install Windows. However:

     

    Does someone else have an Administrator account on your computer? If so, they can reset your password.

    Believe it or not, guessing often works after several tries. Over the past twenty years, this method has worked best for me and my family.

    If you have Windows 8, borrow someone else's computer to sign in to your Microsoft account. You'll have to look around, but there's a place to reset your password.

     

    And one last thing. Every site I researched agrees that the easiest way to get your password is to try guessing.

    You might try rebuilding from the recovery disks and see if that puts the password back the way you set it.
