New Win7 install on AO722

Hi. I have two identical AO722s and the HD died on one of them. I replaced it, and used Acer's recovery discs to reinstall Win7 HP. While the OS loaded okay, there appear to be several problems:

1) The wireless LED will not light (despite Fn+F3). No networks are detected (although works fine on ethernet)

2) Screen resolution only toggles between Low (800x600) and High (1024x768). My preferred is 1366x768 on my other machine.

3) The system rating shows 1.0, whereas in the 'good' machine it is 2.8.

I have no idea what is happening, it almost seems as if I have an 'old' version of Win7. It looks and feels quite different to the other 722. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Question, did you use another copy of Acer's eRecovery software to recover your system? The only time I've ever seen this happen is when the wrong recovery media is used. Just so you know, you can download all of the drivers you need directly from the Acer website. You could also do a Windows Update to grab the majority of the missing drivers.
