    Please get back with the OS(Windows 7 or Win 8) and check the current WiFi driver version in Device Manager.

    This issue has been reported for this model and can be resolved by updating BIOS.

    No wireless driver update has been released for this model.

    Press the Window key + E to open windows explorer

    You need to click on the above weblink and open BIOS_Acer_2.10_A_A.zip file.

    The Open BIOS_Acer_2.10_Windows and execute Q5WT6210 to update BIOS.

    BIOS update is not running. It's been prevented by window.

    This BIOS has brrn specifically released for computer shipped with windows 8.

    Try a BIOS reset and try to perform BIOS update.

     

    Here are the steps to perform BIOS reset.

     

    -> Restart the laptop (on which you are experiencing this issue) and keep tapping the F2 key to enter into the BIOS.

    -> Press the F9 key and then select "Yes" to save the configuration.
    -> Then press the F10 key and select "Yes" to save the changes in BIOS.
    The lapotp will restart automatically and boot into Windows.

     

    Once you logged into Windows, run the BIOS update file from the downloaded folder. Make sure the Adapter is plugged into the laptop.
