Hi! I'm Gerald from Indo-Myanmar border. I bought my acer netbook from new delhi in 2011 with windows 7 starter edition installed. By 2013, speed slows down and trojan horses, virus and malwares attacked. Offline most of the time(even when i am online its 46kbps internet connection here in Indo-myanmar border), I format the whole disk using disk partition manager(bootable) and re-installed windows 7 home basic. Then, in Disk management there appears 115.92 GB free space as extended partition which could not be recovered. The whole acer recovery management or any acer related softwares were formatted by my disk partition manager. Is there any way for me to go back to the time I bought my computer with all the acer softwares restored? My netbook SNID is **** and my product key is *** anyone out there who cares to help - SOS

    Hello Gerald

Try reinstalling WIndows from your recovery partition. Reboot your netbook and press ALT & F10 simultaneously to access Acer eRecovery.

Follow the on screen prompts & select the "Completely Restore" option, make sure you've backed up all your data first.

When finished, your netbook will be recovered to the day you bought it. Don't forget to apply Windows updates, Anti Virus software & the documents you've backed up previously....
