Received my refurbished V3-772G-9402, a lot of keys broken (not registering)

Hi would anyone be able to help me with my issue?

I just ordered a refurbished laptop from Acer's official outlet store in eBay, 2 days later it arrived but upon testing I noticed a lot of random keys in the keyboard are not working (p,1,3,-,m,o, etc.).

Is there a way to manually fix this? Perhaps a ribbon became loose during shipping or whatnot.

If the problem lies with a hardware defect then I am horrified as to what kind of QC they do in their factories before they ship it out!

Is there a way to manually fix this by myself? Frankly I wouldnt want to ship back my acer laptop because I am on a different country now (I brought it with me) and I was only visiting the US.

Is there international Warranty covered? I am in the right Philippines now.

Wow, amazing.

I just tried to do a help desk ticket online and now when I entered my model # it says my warranty already expired.
Can you believe that? I feel totally ripped off. Trying to ship me a defective laptop without any warranty. This is horrible.

I could not register and ask for support even via chat to help me fix this problem (it says I am out of warranty).
Can anybody help me give a phone number or e-amil so that I can ask an official acer tech support staff?

I have no means or way to contact them right now because I keep on getting rejected.

Pj, let me try to help. I did not know that Acer sold refurbished computers, but I would be happy to check any link that someone will post.

Try connecting an external keyboard to your machine. If it works, you have a hardware problem and need to take it to a shop. If it doesn't work, you have a softwaare problem, and you can try a few tricks: Go to Control Panel, Keyboard, and see if everything is set properly. You can try using a System Restore Point. As a last case, you can restore the factory settings. You can also run a deep scan with your anti-virus program.

Sorry, Pj, but I'm having problems with a bad connection. I was surprised to learn that Acer does have two refurbished computer sites. One is in Australia and the other in Great Britain. Their warranties require you to return your laptop to the place of purchase. Can you tell me how long you had your laptop before the problem appeared? An did you try any of the solutions I made in the previous post?
