The following link(s) said if you own an Aspire 5517 and both your USB Ports are broke, you can buy a USB2.0 Card Reader.  The writer said you can get a PCMCIA 4 port cardbus.  I also read that the only way to fix broken ports is to replace the motherboard.  Does anyone know the truth?  My laptop has 2 UBS ports that are broke and I would love a miracle. Smiley Frustrated

As is stated further in that thread, the Aspire 5517 does not have PCCard slots (PCMCIA).
