Acer 200a does not support .MOV video files!

Just went through a long, tedious process of having my Acer 200a tablet "repaired" by Acer tech support.  My initial complaint was simple:  self-made videos downloaded onto the tablet from my camera were playing back with the video portion only -- with no sound being played back.   I left a couple of video files in the Gallery application of the tablet so the tech people could see what I was talking about.  These files played back perfectly on other devices, e.g. desktop.

The unit was delivered back to me today with a note saying "could not duplicate the issue after 27 hours of testing."  Duplicate the issue?  As per my exact written instructions to them, all they had to do was play back either of the videos I left on the tablet.  In brief, the unit was returned in exactly the same condition it was sent out in -- those videos still would not play back with the sound.

I finally concluded that the issue was not a defect in the tablet, but simply that it did not support .MOV video files.  I downloaded video player software (BS player - free) and now I can play the videos just fine.

All this to say that I find it really disturbing that someone at Acer tech support didn't ask me early on in the process what kind of video files were not playing correctly, or that some formats like .MOV were not supported by the tablet.  So this was an incredible waste of their time and money as well as mine.
