Hi, I have found 3 Aspire E1-571 laptops, all i5, windows8 and 4GB but each has a different model number eg 032, 012 and 028 but look the same. Will a kind person please explain the differences.

Also is the travelmate a sturdier and larger version of the aspire. Thanks very much and sorry to ask what must seem stupid questions. thanks

    Hi jackteet!

With Acer, the model numbers just refer to usually a slight difference in specification, IE RAM, graphics, quicker processor, disk size, additional features ETC. But generally is the same laptop. A quick Google of these models suggest the 032 has 6GB of RAM 750GB hard drive, and the 028 has 4GB of RAM, but a 1TB hard drive. The 012 model has a 500GB hard disk.

As for the Travelmate series, they are mainly aimed at the professional market, IE business laptops, and beacuse of that may well be tougher than the consumer based Aspire series.

    Hope this helps
