Acer Aspire Easystore H340 storage and bays full add on new HD

Could use some advise I have the Acer Aspire and all 4 bays are filled and storage is at capacity with 3x 2TB HD and 1x 1TB HD. I just bought a 3TB HD that I would like to swap out the 1TB HD with. I do have an extra expansion bay lying around but I would prefer to exchange the 1TB with the 3TB so I could have it internal in the server.

Is it possible to put the 3TB drive in the expansion and add it to the pool via WHS. Then start the disk removal wizard for the 1 TB HD to transfer the information over. Then remove the 1TB and swap it with the 3TB drive? I don't know if the server configures the HD to a specific bay or they can be moved around at all.

To answer your question, there is a limitation to the H340 Easystore Home Server. The max HDD space this unit is certified with 4X2TB, which give you the 8TB total.
