HP G61 Laptop With Three Lights

Hey everyone, 

This laptop here is a HP G61-329CA, and is showing three lights blinking when I press the power button. I replaced the battery already, but now it won't even start up.

 

I assume this could now be a hard drive problem because thats the most common problem with most of the laptops I fix for people these days, but I thought I would ask you guys to get a second opinion.

 

Below that image is a picture of the model number and serial number. There is only one click noise when I press the power button, but no constant clicking as a bad sign of a failed hard drive, though I've fixed laptops with no clicking noises and it was still the hard drive. Any tips would be so great!!!!.
