Key board error (Aspire 5920G)

I don't know what's wrong with some functions of the keys on my keyboard. For the most part it is functioning correctly, but some (actually only few) keys for unknown reason have changed their meaning. For example if I want to type '@', I have to click shift + " (a button on the left side next to Enter), instead of Shift+@ as it used to be. On the other hand @ has become ". Does somebody know what's wrong with my keyboard.

My laptop model is Aspire 5920G, operating system is Windows 7 34-bit.

Thank You!

Did the keyboard language get changed accidentally?  Or does reseting the keyboard correct the problem in Control Panel > Region and Language > Keyboards and Lauguages > Change Keyboards?

Thank You very much! This was the cause of a mysterious problem; Dutch keyboard was on, instead of international. Smiley Happy
