Acer S3-951 Wireless drops on my home network, works perfect at office, neighbors etc

It has been doing this for a year but has now reached the point of dropping about every 15 minutes.  I can manually disconnect from the network and then reconnect again to get the connection back.  If I do this too many times it will give me an error message that there is no network to be found.  I have to restart the laptop to get back on.

It works fine at my office, friends houses etc.

The other wireless devices at the house work fine except my Apple Airplay that constantly drops out during songs.  Could it be a router issue?  I think I have a pretty high powered Cisco router.  Maybe my settings are wrong on it.

Thanks

GJ

The issue does not appear to be the notebook itself or the wireless adapter.

As you note, "It works fine at my office, friends houses etc."

This would indicate that it is not an adapter or notebook issue, but the environment / network.

Any suggestions?  Do I need to change something on my router?

    Thanks

It sounds like you do have an issue with the Apple Airplay also dropping, so I would suggest resetting your router to defaults and then reconfiguring it for your ISP.

I would remove any encryption, static IPs, or routing that you have set up and see if you can get a stable connection.
