arcserver.exe can be disabled?

Hi there!

I just bought an Acer desktop (very happy with it) and I plan to use it mainly for gaming. As a gaming rig I want to shut down non vital proccesses (specially the windows apps junk) as I play some very demanding games.

I noticed that the proccess 'arcserver.exe' uses some of the CPU and according to the taskmanager it also slows down the start up quite a bit (stated as 'high').  Is it safe to disable this proccess? I have no idea what it does.

Thanks in advance.

Very likely part of Acer Remote, which is safe for you to disable.
